What To Expect

Every patient is unique, and we are dedicated to providing the highest quality endodontic care tailored to your individual needs. Above all, we strive to make your visit an exceptional experience.

Please review the following checklist before your appointment:

  1. Complete the Online Patient Registration and Health History so we can prepare for your visit. If you are unable to fill out the forms online, please arrive 15 minutes early to complete them in the office.

  2. Bring your dental insurance card so we can make a copy.

  3. Provide a list of your current medications and take any routine medications as usual before your appointment, if applicable. Failing to provide a complete and accurate list of medications may require us to reschedule your appointment. If you need antibiotic premedication before dental visits, please take it one hour prior to your appointment.

  4. If your general dentist has provided a written referral or X-rays, please bring them with you.

  5. Minors (under 18) must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Treatment Overview:

Your treatment will begin with a diagnostic consultation. We will review your medical and dental history, conduct a clinical and radiographic exam, and establish a diagnosis. While we may receive X-rays from your dentist, we typically take our own images to ensure an accurate diagnosis. We will then discuss whether root canal therapy is necessary and explain your treatment options in detail. In most cases, root canal therapy can be completed during the initial visit. However, additional appointments may be required based on treatment recommendations.

Patient Comfort:

All treatment is performed under local anesthesia. Your comfort throughout the procedure is our highest priority, and we aim to exceed your expectations.

Advanced Technology:

Our doctors use a surgical microscope for all endodontic procedures, allowing for optimal visualization of delicate root structures. We also utilize a low-radiation digital X-ray system, digital microscopic imaging, and microsurgical instruments to enhance precision and efficiency.

In addition, our office has the ability to take high-resolution 3D images of your teeth. This advanced technology helps identify and treat pathology and anatomy not visible with traditional X-rays, leading to more thorough and precise treatment. It also allows us to detect potential issues that could prevent your tooth from healing fully, reducing the likelihood of treating a tooth with a poor prognosis.

Our Services:

We offer a variety of procedures, including:

  • Non-surgical root canal therapy

  • Endodontic retreatment

  • Diagnosis of cracked teeth

  • Endodontic microsurgery (apicoectomies)

Through specialized endodontic care, we can save many teeth that might otherwise be lost.
